last August 5th (2005), I ordered a
"Banks Trans-Command" for my coach. No one
(major dealers or repair shops) in my area wanted to install the modification.

To make a long story short, and THANKS TO THE MEMBERSof IRV2, I found out I had the wrong unit. (Received a E4OD and needed a 4R100), a quick call to Banks confirmed the error.

Now, 10 months later I call CW Customer Service and explain the situation. The Rep was very helpfull and with the OK of a Supervisor, They are sending the correct model and will credit my account on return of the other. Which, insidentally, is still in the original box with the invoice, etc..

It is very nice to have a good comment on a major store.

Thanks again CW !

Nice to hear the good stuff! I also have to compliment CW and Meyers RV in Hamburg NY. After my R/T was totalled by a Caddy running a stop sign, Meyers helped me find a comparable RV, even bringing it in from NH before I even had the final word from my insurance company (the other driver was under-insured!) They don't normally deal in class B's, but have assisted me with mine at every turn. Doug, my sales rep, made a tough situation more easily manageable, and between him and State Farm, I went from totalled B to new-2-me B in two weeks, start to finish!

Hey Hound, guess it just depends on who you talk to ..... My Rep said it should be changed ... received the replacement on Friday.
Also shipped back the E4OD.

No harm done and have the correct part.
