It is a bit of snobbery that robs us of our ability to remember what life was like before we traveled the roads for pure pleasure, with little if any time constraint. I too reserve the right to drive at a leisurely pace, but do move over for people to get around me and even pull off from time to time if I can't keep speed. These people have places to be, jobs to do and I am just traveling for fun.
I have noticed there are many people who leave 10 minutes late and try to arrive 10 minutes early on a 10 minute drive.

Was golfing on a very popular course on a Saturday. The course was full but somehow they sent out a twosome behind our group. We were following the groups ahead but the twosome kept hitting into us. At the turn they went into the clubhouse and complained we would not let them play through. The pro (who I knew very well) came out to talk to us and we had a nice discussion about why there was no point in letting them through. He said he understood but he had to make the appearance of taking their complaint seriously because they were members.
