The sky is falling

I am tired of the falling fluorescent light shields. I want to replace all of them with a more substantial unit. Does anyone have an idea of a good replacement 18" dual fluorescent light fixture?

Rick, I have and have also installed a lot of Thin Lite http://www.thinlite.com/ fixtures. They are of good quality and the lenses should not fall off. Mine are 10 years old and no problems.

I used a tip from this board. Small dab of white silicone at each end-center of the lens where it meets the case. Been up two years now without falling off.

Hi: I bought 6 of these for my motor home. The catalog price was over $52.00- after arrival i looked at the mfg. part# -same mfg. and part #-$17.50 each + free shipping. In case the link below don't load -the ebay # is 350224413097. I am pleased with the lights. The lens snapped on solid.

FOUR Fluorescent Lights, 16W 12Volt Trailer Camper 2F8:eBay Motors (item 350124413097 end time Aug-08-09 16:42:45 PDT)
