I hope you never lock that deadbolt lock when there is anyone inside the coach ... the videos of fires in RV's make be believe that you would not have time to find a key to get out the door ...

I had an accident and the door stuck; needed a prybar to open the door;
What would have happened if the coach was on fire?
not a pretty sight.
wife has had hip surgury; so going out the window was not an option.

I understand that. The key remains in the lock when we are "in". I only remove it for storage. I have another "deterrent" when we are occupying the coach.

My dealer now leaves all his units unlocked. At $400 plus labor per door replacement, it's cheaper to replace stolen items.
Of course that assumes they are smart enough to try the door before breaking out the glass or prying the door open.
