Thinking about starting early this season?

Wife and I are taking the rig to the flooring store tomorrow, she wants new carpet, and it's easier than hauling samples back and forth (in theory anyway), it's a good excuse to take the motorhome out for an early ride. Is it to early to dewinterise up here in Jersey? Would like to do a couple short boondocking trips.

When we had tile put in our 2000 DSDP we did just that, saved a bunch of trips too. May do that with the 2002 as the carpet is getting pretty dirty and doesn't want to clean up very well anymore.

We've already been out once so far, just last month. Headed for CA and the AZ for the Good Sam rally in Phoenix next week.

We had snow last week, by noon it was gone.

As one who was born and raised in the Garden State, it is a well known fact that one never knows what the ides of March will blow in; rain, snow, cold or warmth. Having said that, I would definitely take that rig out of it's winter slumber and hit the road. Unless of course you live up in the high country of Sussex county, but down at the Jersey Shore or thereabouts, no problem!
IMHO, of course!

Thinking about getting the water system started up here in chicago too. Brought her home a couple weeks ago, just couldn't wait.

If you have power and propane, no problem.
