This Memorial Day before you pop that cold beer and crank up the grill say a prayer for those brave souls and their families that gave the ultimate sacrifice so that we are all free to enjoy the freedoms our great country offers us.
Not only will I say a prayer, I will shed many tears this weekend. I have lost way too many great friends in the past years and I will never take our freedoms for granted.

I think there are a lot of folks who confuse Memorial Day with Veterans Day (Nov 11) and Armed Forces Day, which I believe is the third Saturday in May. Memorial Day is a day set aside for remembering those who gave thier all while in service to thier country. Remembering those who have fallen while in service on any day is a good thing to do.
