Thor seems to be gobbling up ALL Competitors

Recently announce Incorrectly by News Media that Heartland had been Bought by Jayco, was actually Thor Industries purchasing and consolidating into Jayco of Heartland production.
https://ir.thorindustries.com/invest...y/default.aspx

Thor already snatched up Tiffin and Newmar in last five years.

Not really news about something new.

Entegra Coach 'In the Spring of 2008, joined the prestigious Jayco Family" according to their website.

July 1st, 2016 Jayco and all it's subsidaries including Entegra became a part of Thor. according to the Jayco website.

Heartland RV's was taken over by Thor in September 2010 - according to the Heartland website.

All the Press Release said is they are shuffling the deck of companies around a little to move Heartland under Jayco.

Newmar isn't a Thor company - Winnebago Industries is their parent corporation.

Yep. After Jayco takes over management, we may or may not see some simplification of trailer lineups or dropping of sub-brands, but that won't happen overnight. For instance, there may not be enough business to keep 4 lines of 5th wheel toy haulers going. Some floorplans might be shared with just a difference in badges and standard equipment to reduce costs. At this early stage it is all guessing since even the folks at Jayco probably don't know what is going to happen yet.

Old news. Winnebago acquired Newmar in 2019.

As evidenced by posts in this thread, incorrect information abounds on the internet.

Found that yes Thor has Not bought Newmar, Source was wrong. Stand corrected, yet Thor is buying up a great deal of the Competition.

This has been going on basically since the great recession, and it's not just Thor. Nearly all brands are now owned by one of the big three or one of their subsidiaries: Thor, Forest River, and Winnebago.

Heartland RV could disappear from the RV market and nobody would notice.
