John & Kathy....I'm 74 and she's 66. I started in the cub scouts, boy scouts & explorers backpacking, and tenting. Parents had a trailer which I used when I had a young family, then p/u camper, then Class B, moved up to class C in 1973 kept it for 10 years using it in the summer & winter (skiing). Kids got older and I went sailing, retired and sailed to Mexico. Went back to RV's in 07 with a class A Country Coach and now with an 08 Country Coach. What a way to see the country!!

83 & wife 79, As long as we can walk. Started in 1960 with a 59 Ford SW.
After the kids got to big we got a tent.
In 1973, we got another SW & a 15 ft trailer.
After all the kids left home, we camped in a 1983 Custom Ford van.
In 1996 we got a 1990 Sportsmoble dodge van.
Which we still go camping in.

Its my uncles on his hunting land, and on the owners manual it has a picture of a station wagon towing it.......lol
I was about 10 when my dad had a 62 Ford Galexie station wagon pulling a 24 ft TT with 3 kids. I remember him dealing with over heating problems and using a weight distribution hitch. We went from CA to Yellowstone and back. I suspect it was a worrisome trip for my parants.

I'm 61, wife is 64 and will retire next year. I have a few years to go but we just bought a MH and are getting started on the fun part of life. Looking forward to traveling and seeing our great country at a little slower pace. I like to drive and she likes to ride so we should be all set.

I'm 76 and my wife is ah- ah- younger. We are in our 4th class A. We show std. poodles so we go quite a bit to dog shows. Had a nice little TT but it got to small for us and 4 dogs so we up graded to our Monaco DP (4 slides). We had gas MH before but the DP is the way to go. I'm a aircraft builder so I try to do all the maintenance myself and I like doing mods to the coach. Get the Ideas from this forum. Have not had this coach long so I'm still getting used to it and cleaning things up to out liking. Just returned from the UKC nat'ls (1200 mi. round trip) no issues coach runs good and quite. We are looking forward to the 2017 season. While at the Nat'ls our dog won best of breed and won best in group, advanced to best in show. Did'nt win BIS but it was a great honor to be with such a wonderful group of dogs. I really like this forum and check in frequently. Pat

65 & 68, still working. Been working together for almost 37 years and just celebrated 30 years married. Started in tents, two pop ups, tt, and now three class A's. First two gas and now the bus. Plan to keep going until either the bus or we can't do it anymore. Plan to retire in early 2018.
