So now I know. ALL tiny homes are built on wheels!
I think if you google "tiny house" you'll find that even the Internet can't come up with a hard and fast rule

My wife and I have watched several of the shows and have seen a couple of them built with slides. And there have been several built and set up in place. We've also seen 5th wheel RVs and permanent structures on the same show. I think the only real criteria is that it be a dwelling that is ... well ... tiny. Now, I guess you have to define "tiny." I have an old friend who lives in a one-bedroom cabin at about 600 square feet. That seems tiny to me, but it'd probably be too big for some of the folks on the shows.

No slide outs (why do tiny house builders miss that?).
They haven't - I've seen at least two mobile tiny houses (on tv shows) that had some sort of expandable room when parked. One had a crank-up loft and another a manual "push out' section. Something like where RVs were back around 1990.
