We live in Orlando and we've always been able to find a spot. A lot of folks cancel their reservations the week before they are supposed to show up. Many parks will hold 10% OF their sites for overflow/first come first serve. But yes, the snowbirds sure do fill things up here.

We're busy making our reservations for next summer (but I'm not telling you where).

Enjoy your trip!

When we were at WP Franklin in February of 2015, we met a few folks who came with no reservation and got a spot. They sometimes had to change sites or shorten their time there because they had to take what was available. We also saw people turned away. Everyone has their own preferred way to plan a trip. For us, we have some favorite spots that we like to visit and don't want to chance not getting in even if it means setting up multiple computers and working hard at getting that reservation. We always allow some time before our first reservation begins and after the last reservation ends so that we can just meander wherever we want. For us, it's the best of both worlds kind of thing.
