Tire Failure Records
In an effort to start tracking tire failures on motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers this sticky thread is created to store Tire Failure Records. Since this thread is closed, the completed record will be moved here by iRV2 staff from the Tire Discussion and Failure thread.
To create a tire failure record, copy the Tire Failure Record questionnaire below and paste it into a new post in the Tire Discussion and Failure thread and complete the questionnaire. The Tire Discussion and Failures thread can be accessed by clicking the link below the questionnaire.

Knot in sidewall about the size of golf ball cut in half. Found it during tire inspection. I replaced the failed tire and the other one on the same axle. Moved other to spare.

Describe the Tire Failure: The tread came off with no warning but the tire still had 110 psi
Instead of filling out another report the second set of 614 tires only lasted 2.5 years and 24K miles before we had the same problem but I found it before it came apart an did more damage to the trailer. We no longer have GY tires of our trailer.

This tire was on left front initially. Tread wear was minimal except for one of the tread rings....which was wearing excessively. Relocated this tire to left rear inner due to this tire wear (didn't want it on my steering axle).
