Tire monitor

Just found out that my tire monitor system had a galvanic reaction to my valve stem extensions fused themselves together.

I had that happen on our car. The valve caps welded themselves to the stem amd when you put a plyer on it they twisted off.

I've had the same problem with the Borg Warner inner duals tire extensions. I have used di-electric grease, which doesn't solve the problem.

Tha_: Is the monitor threads aluminum and the valve stem brass?

Monitor I think aluminum as for the extension not brass it silver colored. When I removed the other side it came apart but tight it had a white powder residue between.

Heard about this issue from another forum member. I'm surprised that di-electic grease won't work? I'm sure a bit of never seize would work!
