Tire Pressure Gauge

Can anyone provide me with information as to where I can purchase an accurate tire pressure gauge? I have tried several and they seem to be consistently inconsistent...as much as 5 to 10 psi difference. I need one that measures up to 100 psi for motorhome tires. Thanks.

Here's the one I've been using for about four years. It's accurate to .1 psi and with the attached valve stem connection is very easy to use.

I've used one made for large trucks for years. Still accurate when calibrated with brand new ones. Can be ordered through Amzn or go to a good car parts place/truck stop.

Just ordered one of those...thanks for the link & recommendation.

Just wondering how long the battery lasts, Lt.

I've been using mine for about four years and have never changed the batteries. It's only active when it's pressurized then turns off after a few seconds.

Lt Dan, can that be used without being hooked to an inflator?

I’ve got several. A regular gauge like Puttin posted. And this digital one. I use the digital most often. It matches my regular one, and my tpms readings.

I have, at last count, three of these. They all agree with each other and they're within one psi of the tpms.

I have used digital gauge for many years now

I bought my first digital air gauge eight or ten years ago and bought a second one a couple years ago and love them. The Amazon link looks like my second one and it works great

The one I have looks just like this but it is a different brand. I figure the same company made it though. Only difference is that mine has the truck tire type chuck on the end. I needed this because I do not have valve extenders on the rears.

It had good reviews and it coincides with the pressures my old Milton truck tire gauge shows.

Yes it can. I use it all the time without having it connected just to check pressures. As soon as you connect to the valve stem it reads pressure and lights up.

Is there a reason you're not using a TPMS instead of (or in addition to) a hand gauge on a motorhome?

We use the TST 507 TPMS on the motorhome and on the car we tow. Turn it on and we have all tire pressures within five minutes in all weather conditions as well as when driving. No muss, no fuss, no time, and clean hands.

Why on the toad? A flat on a toad also can cause a lot of damage if undetected: https://www.motor1.com/news/450203/c...rk-damaged-rv/

These are the two gauges I use. The red one is a walmart special (under $10) and the one I use most.
