I think TST and Tireminder are the top two aftermarket systems. I used Tireminder on my previous coach because I got a great deal on it.

TST valve stem failure
Not sure what the best solution may be. We have a TST system that was installed before we left the dealer's lot. Worked well until last month when the right front sensor sheared off the end of the valve stem. The resulting tire deflation ruined a tire with 2-3 years life remaining.
Currently looking for a TPMS that would not have the potential to damage the metal valve stems on our coach.
Note - hitting potholes likely generated enough shock loading to cause the valve stem shearing incident. Possibly the non-flow-thru sensors might be a better solution as they appear to be smaller in physical size.

I do like my Tireminder i10. Monitoring rv and toad. Its got a toad or towed vehicle disconnect (and reconnect) festure when youre not towing. Accurate and works as advertised. Easy to setup. Has a feature to refresh all pressure readings -.useful first thing in the morning before hitting the road. They have a $5 battery program. Their phone support is very responsive and good if you need help being walked through anything.

I bought a 10 piece EEZTire system from Amazon several years back for my motorhome and car trailer, and recently updated to a color monitor. The system seems to work OK; I replace batteries yearly, and have replaced a few O-rings. The only negative comment is that it is a little slow to come to life in the morning. I also removed the security barrels for ease of removal & installation since I didn't buy the flow through version.

I've had Tire Minder for 9 years now. Just upgraded to the i10 model (still using the original sensors and repeater). I can only personally compare to an old Doran system I had long ago and that's not really fair because of technological advancements in the industry. I can only say that the Tireminder systems have been simple to set up and use. Accuracy wise the systems have never shown pressures more than 1 psi different than my digital tire gauge.
One thing to keep in mind is that no system with external sensors is going to give accurate internal tire temperature readings. I noticed that my i10 system no longer shows me temps but would warn if it's temp parameters are exceeded. My old TireMinder system showed temps, but if I manually calculated temperature based on 2% change in pressure from ambient setting = 10°F temp change, the reported temps were understated, which is what happens on external sensors. I had a discussion with the TST salesman, at the FMCA rally about accuracy of reported temps on their external sensor system and he swore theirs were completely accurate internal tire temps. I referred him to Roger Marble (Tireman9 on this forum and career tire engineer), who was at the rally, and walked away. I liked the display of the i10 way better than what TST was offering.
Good luck in your search.

Been using a TST system on our MH and toad since 2019. Very satisfied with the system.

I had to refresh my memory by looking at the Tireminder i10 manual on tire temperatures. I bought mine in 2019.
Temperature alerts are given when the internal temperature exceeds 167F. Manual says to pull off the road to investigate. I think I did receive high temperature alerts one day in Wyoming or Montana when the ambient temperature was 100+ heat wave in 2020 lasted for several days.
I found setting the baseline for all the tires at the set pressure + 9 eliminated false high pressure alerts. Advice given to me by Tireminder!

I also am trying to determine which system is best. Sounds like a coin toss this far. You Tube videos are often slanted due to sponsorships and free stuff enticements so I’m hoping that more folks who’ve used both TST and Tireminder might chime in. Thanks

Tst 770
We have used this system for 2 years and are really happy with it. Color display and touchscreen capability. Alerted me to slow leak a few months ago that ended up being a leaking valve stem.

TST for 10 years now. We run 12 sensors, tag axle coach and on toad. Works well and has great service.
