Tire Safety (something new)

Well, new to me anyway.



Note: near the end, he mentions that the heat source can be many thing and the resulting explosion can happen up to 24 after the fact!

Perhaps this is another reason over 90% of all tire failures are the result of under-inflation/overloading. Those load/inflation charts reflect the minimum safe air pressure for the corresponding load, not necessarily the optimum.

Can't count the times I took a torch to a lug nut on a Deuce and Half in the Army. Makes that look like the dumbest thing I did. And I did some pretty dumb things!
