...and the brave families of soldiers that have paid the ultimate price for our freedom, I say a HUGE thank you!!! I cannot begin to express the gratitude in my heart for what you have contributed to the freedom I enjoy!!

Yes, thank you veterans living, and passed, and especially to my old sailor, boon companion, best friend, veteran of the Pacific campaign WWII, now passed into history, thank you. Because of men like these we grew up free, American, with choices in life.

We always thank the servicemen and women when we see them in uniform. Not just on this special day, but any day. My son's class had a wonderful memorial day ceremony and there was a standing ovation for the men and women in the audience who were veterans, and specially invited.
