If yo bought a 30' or 32' Class A gasser, yo pretty much get the same chassis as your 36' coach. With the shorter chassis, you ight be able to cheat a little on the weight. Since yours is a 36', I think you're going to be pushing it with the truck and really pushing it with another 600-800 pound of golf cart.
One poster said he beefed up the hitch. That's not a bad idea, but is only part of what goes into determining what a vehicle can tow. Other things to consider are cooling, braking, transmission and handling.
Maybe a 1/2 ton, 2 door, or super cab truck can get under the 5K limit. I know my 2016 Canyon 4 door weighed in at 4600 pounds. My Ford Raptor weighs in at 6100 pounds. If I recall, my 4 door Silverado was at 5100 pounds.
