So, I got a response today from the NCQuickPass people today.
I asked one question, do I need a separate transponder for my travel trailer.
Apparently, there is another Phil Perrin running around here in NC that already has a transponder, so they can't figure out which one I am, or answer my question.
I guess I gotta go by one of their offices. Yay.

Phil, You don't have to have one for any towed vehicle. When you are detected it also counts the number of axles and that is how the rate is calculated. If we are towing the Prius and leave the transponder in it, then the coach will be billed for 4 axles and then the Prius will be billed for being itself.
