I know, I know metric is more precise....great for engineering/science
English measuring system vs Metric System cost NASA the Mars Orbiter

But 3.87 just does 'seem' very tall.............

OB
More precise??? How can that be... its just different... any metric measurement can be converted to English EXACTLY!

Celsius can't be more precise than Fahrenheit can it? C close to 2X F so that would make F more precise?

You get 1 free vehicle. There is a web portal and an app.

Another thing to have is a code reader like Bluedriver and its associated app.
Thanks for this recommendation. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Perfect for me.

I'm a weather nut and had never heard of this app. Now I'm hooked. Can't wait to use it on an actual trip.

What's the point? They are both English but can be converted to metric.
In that example the precision is due to the measurement tool... ruler vs micrometer but neither is metric? You can be more or less precise with either English or metric!

Do you think 1.000 inches us less precise than 25.40 mm?

Metric is nicer when driving because the kilometers go by faster than the English miles. But it's terrible driving in Norway where the "Norsk mil" is 10 kilometeres or 6.213711922 English miles It takes me almost a full day to go 30!

Wanting to add a few apps to my cell phone, but can't seem to find Allstays on Google Play. Am I doing something wrong?

what3words. It's an app that uses the GPS in your phone to find your location and render it in three words. It's free. If you ever have an emergency in a place with bad cell service, you can fall back to text messaging. It uses a lot less bandwidth and will get out when voice calls won't. Also, most phones will retry a few times automatically. The shorter the message, the better!

Anyone can use what3words.com to find you given the three words, also for free.

"70 year old male, suspect heart attack. what3words.com location is shows.factor.soccer. Send ambulance."

Wow!! I went to the What3Words website. Very interesting concept! I don’t plan to need it, but I love the idea. Will broadcast to my RV/outlander and boater friends
