traveling 4000 miles what to do?

ok my 2008 cougar 300 srx will be traveling from richmond va to las vegas and then around the grand circle and back to richmond va. So far , i have replaced the floor in my slide because the slide was not moving properly. then, i removed all the brakes , cleaned and adjusted them. repacked the wheel bearing, checked all the lights , performed a state inspection to be legal, checked the tires , balanced all the tires, which are only 6 months old and aired to 55 psi. I'm going to clean out the tanks this weekend when i dewinterize it , with bleach, , fill the propane tanks, check the water heater and ac, add another spare tire to the back so i will have 2 spares. cleaned and lubed the hitch assembly. plus performed maintenance on the generator. thanks for the help.

Did you check your batteries, inverter, solar if you have it and all of your electronics and pumps?
Sounds like a great trip... enjoy

Well it's great to be prepared but your not going to the moon. Have you never used the RV before? I mean with all the work and inspections, it sounds like it has not been used for quite a while. Why are you re-balancing 6 month old tires? Everyone is different, but Do you carry 2 spare tires for every vehicle you drive. We keep our RV ready to go. What I mean is, weather were going for a very short trip or a multi state trip it's ready to go, all we need is food, everything else is already done after the last trip. I don't understand "I'm going to clean the tanks this weekend" Don't you do that right after your last trip? If not you might want to get in that habit. It sounds like you winterized the RV, but didn't empty the tanks?? Anyway good luck and have fun.
