All interested parties may wish to take a look at page 41 of the June issue of Family Motor Coaching magazine. An article there states that Tracks to Adventure, "an organizer of RV caravan tours throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and oversees", has cancelled its remaining 2010 tours to Mexico because of increased violence. It also states that the US State Department has issued "a more stringent travel warning for the Mexican states of Durango, Coahulla, and Chihuahua".

Having done business in Mexico for decades, I know what the problem is here with the bureaucracy....

Those folks didn't pay "La Mordida"...

When the official asked for more documentation, the answer is, "Sir, allow me to pay an "expiditing fee" of $500 and help to expidite the paperwork."

THAT would have got them their vehicle and they would have been on their way home....Truth is, "you pay, or you stay."

Corruption is still rampant in a poor country.
