Treat myself and nothing works ha ha

Well with all the stressors of life I thought this weekend I would go to a park. Coyote point national Park it's just a hop skip and a jump away you know right on the water beautiful place. I get here in first the park guys kind of snarky with me I'm like okay that's nice ignore him. Then I get to the site and I'm like cool I have water and electricity super excited. First I had a hard time connecting the electricity finally I got the plug to work cuz it was kind of messed up but then I got it to go and of course my hose is too short for water so mental note I got to get a longer hose bums me out cuz I really wanted to have some water. But now I can't though it's 110 volt but nothing's turning on in the RV what did I miss? Did I forget something anybody have any thoughts?

Did you switch on the breaker in the pedestal? Do you have an onboard generator and if so is there power when it is running? Is your main circuit breaker in your RV panel switched on?

Breaker at pedestal?? If you have a meter with you carefully test outlet. You may have to leave small amount unplug to test at. Did I say carefully. Breakers on inverter. Do you have ATS or do you have to move cord from genny to pole power.
There are inexpensive outlet testers for 30 or 50 amp. I see as well many on FB marketplace sellers for 30amp surge protectors and accessories when they move to 50a unit a bit less 50s surge guards. These will also give you info if outlet is right and safe for coach.

I hope all worked out. Getting rest at the campsite is very important.

Borrow a neighbors water hose, fill your tank and return the hose. Problem solved.

The water is more than 25 ft away? I have always worried about that and plan to buy a 50 ft hose for those times when the 25 ft won't cut it.

I carry three 25 footers. We've been to a few water only sites where the spigot was situated between campsites over 50 feet away. Never needed more than that the three.

Need one extra hose at the spigot connected into a "Y" fitting... used in case of fire.
