Trickle Chargers

Winter is around the corner and I'll be disconnecting my battery and bring it in the house .
I need a new trickle charger.
Saw this on ebay and figured it would be fine .
Anyone use a similar setup?

Personally, I like the Battery Tender. It's a quality charger/maintainer. They're more expensive, but you get what you pay for. I see all of these knock off models make theirs the same color as the original Battery Tender. Coincidence???

I have a CTek 3300 that I’ve used for years to maintain batteries over the winter, great little charger. I also use a few Genius chargers for charging and maintaining other batteries, also great chargers that will charge lithium as well.

The link the OP posted sure looks like a Battery Tender, but is not. The description says it is a float charger. Those constantly charge the battery at a low rate.

The actual Battery Tender monitors the charge voltage and turns off when fully charged. When the battery volts drop below the parameter in the Tender, it turns back on.

I use the 1.25 amp on my TT battery my motorcycle battery.

I have used a couple different models from Battery Minder and have had very good success with batty life.
I had several AGM battys given to me when pulled from a Corp data center as PM / end of "useful" life. I used some and kept spares on Battery Minders for ~10 yrs and some are still in service on my boat and doing fine.
I permanently mounted and wired their selectable 12V 2-4-8A model to maintain my house bank of 8 - 6V AGM GCs. All are multi stage smart units.

I should add that I'm not leaving this on for 6 months. I would just hit it every 3-4 weeks for a day then unplug it rinse repeat. It's a new battery ( group 31)and I could probably just hit it once every six weeks and be fine.

I bought a new battery Napa 790cca on sale for one of my trucks in March and just installed it this past week.
It had 12.7 volts sitting on the shelf for six months +

I chuckled reading the description for that charger. Claims to be "4-stage" with Initializing, Bulk, Absorption & Float stages, but the max output is 1.5A @ 13.8v. No way it's anything but a constant voltage trickle charge.
