Left Orange County,Ca on 9-25 for a two week trip around Ca. First stop was Morro Dunes for a one night stop, then on to Big Sur for the next night and finally Santa Cruz for 3 nights. Stopped at the Monterey Aquarium and also did a little shopping on Cannery row. New Brighton was nice but had too much poison oak for the wife and dog so we went to the overflow spots in Seacliff and spent two night's there.
Next leg was to Yosemite for three nights at the Upper Pines Campground. Our neighbors there turned out to be friends with my wife's college buddy that we just left in Santa Cruz (small world). The trip over Tioga Pass was impressive and we had no problems.
Next 2 night's was at Twin Lakes just outside of Bridgeport . My last trip there was in 1974 and the place has not changed, then one night at Mammoth Rv park at Mammoth Mt. Finally spent two night's on the Kern River and camped on my Mom's front door. As usualy we ate 24/7 and finally made it home.

Mileage was 1270
Gas $345.00
Average mpg 10.6
2004 Terra 26Y with 8.1
