Truck tire choices

I have been researching new truck tires, what are some opinions on good tires for pulling a camper? I have a 2004 F-250 265 75R 16 is the tire size
I have been thinking either BF Goodrich All terrain or Firestone Destinations.

Make sure they are at least a E rated load tire. But also check the weight carrying capacity on the sidewall. E rated tires can vary several hunderd pounds in weight carrying capacity. The carrying capacity is the sum of both tires together and must match or exceed the payload but not exceed the axel weight carrying capacity, I hope this makes sence and helps.

What type of roads are you intending to travel on? A couple Firestone tires that are worth looking at would be the Transforce line and the Dueler Revo II line. I have used the Transforce AT on a 3/4t plow truck and have the Duel Revo II's on two other vehicles.

Unless you plan on doing some "mudding", not just off roading on rough trails, I would look at something other than all tarrain. A good road tire (truck) will give you a smoother and quiter ride with the additional benefit of longer tread life.
Thats just my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.

Thom's put Hankook's on every car and truck we've had over the last 15 years, except for the bike and the new Fiat we just bought, and they have worked very well in rain, snow and hot weather. Welcome to Hankook

Thanks for the opinions, I have done more research today and am leaning toward the Firestone TransForce.

Check out B.F.Goodrich T/A commercial tires. I figured if the beancounters at UPS think they are good enough for their delivery trucks they are fine for my truck. 45 thousand miles on my 2nd set and they are about 1/2 worn down to the wear bars. Oh, my truck, 2002 Chevy dually that pulled a 15,500# 5er about 60 thousand miles. (they are owned/made by Michelin)
