Go to RVTrader.com and do a search for those exact units. That will give you an idea of what they are selling for around the country.

You will not find that info anywhere. The true trade in value is what the seller finds acceptable. More likely it will be what he accepts with reservations since it will be a lowball offer.

You can get an idea with NADA RV. They will give you wholesale and retail for the base unit (best way to use it IMHO).

Good luck.

Trade in versus private sale can be drastically different as can asking versus selling price.

Higher volume units should be easier to ballpark and be closer.

Use all sources to ballpark.

The boating world brokers have access to sold prices list that are often not advertised. Anyone know if there is one in the RV world?

We recently traded in our 2011 Mirada. Two different dealerships in different states offered us the exact same amount. The coaches were looking to buy were the same model. Neither would consider the extras on our coach in the price. My conclusion is that there must be some kind of standard pricing system for dealers to use.

Trade in values are set by market value. Most dealerships go by NADA, KBB and Edmunds when estimating the value of cars.

All the fancy add-ons that appealed to you does not make it worth more to someone else.
When I wanted to trade in my truck, three dealers came up with the same value with a few dollars.

They know you looked first! Checking resale websites does not really give a true value. Depends on selling region and most dealers inflate the price knowing there will be a counter offer that they can work with.

I am looking at replacing my rig right now and use NADA to start with. Like kmac7800 says, it gets me the base "suggested wholesale and retail" price to start from.
Also fully agree with Charles L in that trade in and retail are what the buyer and seller ultimately agree to.

This is still a funky market. Look at new car lots, no new cars but a lot of used cars. Dealers, both RV and cars, are looking for good used inventory because supply chains have left them short of new stuff. They can make almost as much money selling used as new, sometimes more. The used stuff is also keeping them afloat.

For that reason, it depends on what you want to sell and what you want to buy.

Just received one of those checks from a dealer showing "up to 35K" for my 2016 F150.

Yeah sure. They can play the numbers on a new one if they have one at all and give you whatever makes your heart patter.

But used values are indeed through the roof so it is worth most of that.

Have you checked the price of a new one?
