Wow,
Something has happened to the Love's agreement
A week ago today I paid $1.51 a GA in Kingman and today the same station is quoting 2.62 on the app.....good news is that the Petro station right next door is quoting $1.53.......What the heck

It appears that the recent discount agreement that TSD Logistics has negotiated with TA/Petro has had an adverse effect on the previously enjoyed discount at Love's.
If you check the EFS App price locator, I think you'll see discounts now at TA/Petro are similar to last week's Love's discounts.
Take care,
Stu

TSD Fuel Program Update
They TSD , posted and sent an Email or Facebook group post to those that read it , that Loves had changed their agreement and would be changing their discount as the ridiculous savings couldn’t be sustained due to the current low prices. The price change just took effect today or yesterday.
The good news is TA truck stops has announced lower rates with TSD. I checked and they are pretty low... almost as low as Loves used to be. TA will now be my go to stop.

Seems so. On the website Loves does not show any discounts now.

I still saved about .38 a gallon at a Loves today outside of Hickory N C. Until I read this thread I thought that was strange and not so good. Hmm good thing there are lots of TA and Petros out there. Wonder what changed with the Loves deal?

"BillJ",
Just curious....I didn't receive that Email, and I'm not on FB. The last Email I received was the announcement of TA/Petro coming on board.
There was an Email? I missed that one somehow, no biggie though.

Yes when I looked again it was in the Facebook TSD group page. They use that to make announcements evidently as I think that’s the one they limited initiating topics to just them.
Here is the meat of that
“I know everyone noticed the reduced discount at Loves today. They are still on our discount network, just pulled back a little on the discount. We all knew that the large discount couldn't be sustained with the low fuel prices. However TA is being aggressive during this time with their discounts trying to win customers over. Discounts will fluctuate over the course of time which is why we are working on expanding our discount network to have flexibility so when one is low you have other options to choose from. Keep looking for the lowest price regardless of the chain."

I just hope T/A stays aggressive for my big trip in June.
It would help on a 3000 mile trip
After that, it doesn’t matter to me until my big fall trip and winter trips.

I think we'll just have to be diligent about using the trip planning function on the app and comparing it to GasBuddy to keep on top of the best prices going forward.
As far as I am personally concerned, if I never get another discount I'm happy with the money I've been able to save so far and hope to in the future but regardless, THANK YOU TSD Logistics

I use RV Trip Wizard for all my trip planning including an upcoming trip to a wedding in the foot hills of N.C. from our home base in Tampa.
I used a combination of TA and Loves for fueling stops based on RV Trip Wizard calculation of when I needed to fuel and the display of fueling stops.
I'll go back to the program and filter all fuel stops out except TA and use those instead.

Thanks for clarifying things about the FB announcement "BillJ". That makes sense to me.....it's an economic thing, oil market drops.....no surprise, there it is.
I assume that's a public FB page, so I'll tune in, thanks again.

Ditto on that. My 7,000 mile trip was cancelled, but I will be taking short 2,000 miles trip in June.
