I will be removing the original tv in the front overhead and installing a 32" LCD Samsung LN32A550 in my Winnebago 2005 Journey. I have read many of the recent installs of other members and I would like to know if any type of dampening material was used between the support board and the wall mount bracket. If so what was used. I believe that the LCD TV would need some type of dampening protection against the rough roads we travel.

From the installations I have seen on irv2 never saw mention of dampening protection for a LCD. The pic shows mine in bedroom which the rear of coach gets alot of around.
If it were a Plasma they are more at risk.
You should have no problem with your installation.

I have had to remove many LCD monitors and TVs and I have never found one with any dampaning material or mechanisms used. I do know and have heard of problems in the Plasma as 007 has mentioned.
