TX Hwy 63 /LA Hwy 8
RV Trip Wizard does not like TX 63 / LA 8 from Jasper, TX to Leesville, LA. Does anyone know the reason why? Or can anyone confirm it is safe to travel in a motorhome?

Here’s a google maps picture of the bridge over the Sabine River. 12 feet 3” clearance. This is heading towards Leesville. There’s a TT heading westbound on the bridge.
My Forester is 11ft 4” so in theory I wouldn’t touch anything as long as none of those beams across the top aren’t hanging too low.

Low bridge, you're too tall. Unfortunately the apps or gps doesn't tell you why you can't take a route, it just frustratingly refuses to accept it. Google's streetview will often show you why.
Sometimes, though, it refuses because of an obstacle that's no longer there.

Thank you. For some reason, I thought that bridge was replaced a couple years ago.

Sometimes the streetview on Google Maps has not been updated recently, but the satellite view is usually fairly up to date. The satellite view still shows the old bridge, and I see nothing around it to suggest any construction is underway.

I pulled my 5th wheel through that area in January 2020. The low clearance bridge was still being used. I diverted about 15 miles south through the town on Newton where there is a modern bridge over the Sabine river. Check out Google maps for more details.

Did you divert all the way south to Hwy 190 - that seems to be the first bridge across the Sabine south of Jasper/Leesville route.
