Exclamation U.S. 2017 Total Solar Eclipse

FYI August 21, 2017 is Eclipse Day accross the U.S.A.

Total Solar Eclipse 2017 - Path Through the United States

If you have never been in the path of a solar eclipse you really should try to be in the 100% occlusion zone next year. The path starts in Oregon and exits in South Carolina, after bisecting both states and many in between.

For many of us, this will be a once in a lifetime event:
Everything goes dark, the wind stops, the temperature drops (bring a jacket), look for eclipse images in the shadows cast by leaves, and a whole lot more weird/cool stuff!

Be there or be square!

I've been looking at COE campgrounds in TN. I wonder if they'll fill up on the first day or if I can wait and get a whole week at once.

The eclipse will be the first trip in the MH after I retire.

If you're on the road, and don't want to get in on the festivities, just stop in one of the TN rest areas in the path of the total eclipse.

There's a mutated eclipse party already scheduled in Oregon.
Should prove to be a real dandy party.
DW and I are already booked into the campsite.
