Unbelievable Recalls

The latest RV recalls this week. How can some of these things get out of the factory? Who forgets to put a bearing race in? Or a fuse in a circuit? A flammable curtain door??? Wheel studs that weren't heat treated? Doors that open while driving??

There is an old manufacturing axiom that goes "Price, Quality, Delivery, pick two" you don't get all 3 and with some companies you only get 1.

My Dad used to say must have been built on a Friday or Monday.Friday trying to get out the door for the weekend and Monday hung over.

IMHO, if they build RV's like new automobiles and trucks, none of us could afford to buy one!

I especially like this one:
Winnebago Towable is recalling certain 2017 to 2019 Winnebago Minnie Drop trailers. The liquid propane (LP) gas supply line may be missing p-clamps, allowing the supply line to contact the burner assembly on the refrigerator.

Best thing is to learn to do most of the maintenance and small repairs yourself, and carry on(excluding lemons).
