I never use an RV repair shop that also sells RVs. As they are more interested in the sell of another rv than fixing yours. And since they don't fix them until they have a contract, you get the run around while they make money on the sale.

Yes, I kept the carrier updated and they sent the settlement check to me and not the repair shop so that I could go to any other repair shop I choose.

The carrier was Interstate Insurance out of Ohio. I was with them over 14 years. Unfortunately, they decided to pull out of the Personal lines business and terminated my policy. I switched to Progressive.
