Having been in this area for the past 2 weeks and listening to the people talk to one another it is really amazing how a lot of the MFG are staying open.
I did not realize how many people were affected until till you hear how many people have been layed off by the suppliers. There is just one big ripple effect.

If corrective action isn't taken soon to reverse our faltering economy, we're all going to be in a big heap of hurt that could last for an extended period of time.

Yep I am really afraid the great depression of the 1920's will pale in comparison to the one our country is speeding to. Does our current regime in the US Govt or their obvious greedy cronies, the oil industry really care? I think not ! Of course when our dollar is worth absolutely nothing the 40 billion of them that Exxon/Mobil is profiting each quarter won't be worth much more than the paper it is printed on either.
