If you have window awnings and cover the windshield to reduce the heat load you should do fine. They should have 50 amp hook ups to support the rig too. Good luck and enjoy!

We are in Vegas right now and have no problem keeping the motor home cool. Prior to owning the Dutch Star we had an Itasca Horizon with basement air. I think it's better than the roof mounts in hot temps. It will be on most of the day but you'll be fine.

We were in Las Vegas the last of July/first week of August a few years ago. The dual AC units did fine untill the temp hit 119*. Then we had to close off the main living area and stay in the bedroom to stay cool. Both were roof-top mount non-ducted.
