I have a 2014 coachman sportcoach cross country 360 DL.I am having a problem with all the furniture peeling. I was wondering if any one near Joliet Illinois would know of a place that repairs peeling vinal or other solutions. thanks in advance.

This was a problem with several RV mfgs. that used a bonded leather product between 2013-15/16.
In iRV2 search enter "Peeling Furniture" for more info.. There are basically 2 options either buy new stuff or reupholster.
We had the same issue and reupholstered the couch, eating area and eurochair with restaurant grad vinyl. We are satisfied with results. Haven't addressed the driver and passenger chairs using slipcovers purchased at Camping World.
Friends had the same issue and went with new stuff. They wished they had reupholstered. If satisfied with the construction and cushioning of the existing furniture I would lean towards reupholstering.
Hope this helps
Mike

You can't repair it; you can only recover it or replace the furniture.

As said above, there's really only two options....reupholster or replace. We reupholstered our captain's chairs over a year ago. We just ordered a new sleeper sofa to replace our sofa that is starting to look bad. We decided to go with a new sofa because the one it's replacing isn't that comfortable.

The general consensus is to avoid any fake leather unless it is genuine Ultraleather. Otherwise, you are better off going with a high quality fabric.

But, on our captain's chairs, we went with a high quality vinyl that would be used in automobile and marine applications. We were pleased with the results and confident that the material will hold up for many more years than we will own our Bay Star.

Contact Bauer RV upholstery in Iowa. They have all of the Flexsteel patterns and specialize in reupholstering them. Should be about a 3 or 4 hour drive from Joliet and they have hookups so you can stay in your coach while they work on it. We have an appointment in few weeks to have our Captains chairs redone.

There is no way to repair cheap furniture. You can either cover it up, reupholster or replace it.
