Wall mounting suggestions Thor ACE cup holder

Hello folks.

I would like some mounting suggestions for a cup holder.

The cup holder is a Tuffy, steel one, made for aftermarket Jeep consoles, made by Tuffy.

I want to mount it on the passenger side wall, to the right of the front passenger seat of our 2017 Thor ACE 30.3.

The wall appears to be the solid outer wall panel with no open space (cavities).

The wall panel appears to be about 1"thick, based on the window frames.

1/2 screws jump to mind, but what type? Self drilling? Drill pilot and then wood screws? I don't know the actual construction materials of these panels.

I also would not trust velcro or double sided tape, as the "wallpaper" on these walls is likely to just pull off, since I had several peeling edges in corners when it was new.

There are two windows in this area, one near the feet and the other for the passenger/ driver to see out of.

I'm wondering if it would be best to make a bracket that would adapt to one or two of the window frame screws? I assume the window frames just sandwich the wall panel instead of screwing into it.

Opinions?

The vertical aluminum framing of the wall should run right down the sides of the windows with horizontal frames across the top and bottom, if that is a suitable location then a self drilling screw to penetrate the aluminum wall stud is in order. If the best location isn't to a wall stud , then I'd go with a bracket from the window frame screws , I wouldn't trust wood screws into the panel to hold anything.

If you're forced to screw into the wood panel, use two sided tape first on the cup holder to attach it to the wall and then screw it down. The combination of the two will prevent it from tearing out or pulling away.
