I have been unable to find this at any local South Alabama Walmarts. Is this a problem in other locations? I have been checking for weeks.

Did you ask if they have any in the back? Every Wally world I've been to carries two brands, the store brand at $7-8 and BlueDEF at $12 IIRC. They can run out tho.

Be sure to open the lids at the register so you can confirm the seal is in place. Lots of stories of folks returning bottles of DEF full of water to Walmarts, and probably other retail outlets. The freshest DEF is probably straight out of the pump at your local truck stop since they sell lots of it.

I get my DEF at a local Farm and Ranch store. It sells for around $6 for 2.5 gal. DEF is DEF as long as it has pretty recent dates on it.

I have been to a few Walmarts for their DEF. They have all said that as soon as they get a shipment, a couple of hot shot drivers stop and buy about a dozen or so jugs. Find our when they will be getting a shipment and get over to the store.

Often sold out because it’s the best price, other than bulk.

I did this prior to starting this thread. Then I found some at a Walmart so I cancelled the order. There were only 4 jugs and I got two of them.

I always check the seal on them and I have found a few with no seals.

it's a 50-50 chance of having it in stock at our local walmart. they run out often but when they run out they normally get more in 3-4 days. they don't seem to run out of the blue def.

Every Walmart i stopped in in South Dakota and North Dakota was sold out. Found 1 jug in Decatur Indiana. Got home to upstate New York shelves were full

Yep, often sold out. Scoop it up when you find it.

If you look online Walmart.com has another brand for nearly the same low cost - if you buy 4 jugs to qualify for free shipping.

This is why I bought two jugs. I leave in a week for a 4,000+ trip and I wanted to have some on hand. My 10 gallon DEF tank is just about full also.

Some times is is hard to find which is why we always carry and extra jug.

The Wally World near me will no longer take any DEF back as a return. I don't know about other area stores in the greater Portland OR area. This makes it at least some degree safer getting what you pay for.
