In honor of my hundreth post, and apropos of ALMOST nothing...
Sometimes it's really really hard to even FIND a Walmart, no matter how experienced you are at searching!
A post just now led me to search "the net" and here're the "results":
"Oops! Google Chrome could not find walmart
Suggestions:
Search on Google:"
Now I ask you...
If Google Chrome can't find Walmart, how much luck can an amateur like me expect to have?
Francesca
P.S.
That's #100!!!

I do thank you for pointing out my inability to correctly spell a word. I was having trouble with it when I made my post.
With the correct I was able to look it up in the dictionary:
: a person who wants or aspires to be someone or something else or who tries to look or act like someone else
Nothing demeaning in the definition.

Time Out! There are procedures to follow if a post is suspected of a rule violation and we don't have self appointed moderators on this forum.
Lets keep the discussion focused on Walmart.

Try using your GPS...When I'm traveling and need a "Wally World" camp ground (sorry couldn't resist) I have Martha just plug in "Wal-Mart" and the GPS pulls up a list and we just choose the closest one in the direction that we are traveling.
Also...Congrats on the 100th post....

Thanks, Guys!
I was really just sorta making fun of Google Chrome- and I'm such a technodoofus that I don't use much in the way of electronics.
But there's always hope that I might learn!
Francesca
OOPS!
P.S.
Perhaps the next WALMART that I sleep at will have a special on electronics...

Sheesh.

How dare they, Francesca! If they are going to disturb your sleep they could at least knock on the door, coffee and donuts in hand!
Wow, this remodel has been going on for a year, I think. Maybe I'll just go to the Costco across town, instead. That was very peaceful last year.

serious question on a silly thread
I always thought I was "too good" to camp at Wal mart. We went to VA from IL last year. We drove 25 miles out of the way on some crummy roads to pay $43 at KOA while in transit. Pretty expensive for a shower, dinner, breakfast, and 8 hours sleep. It came out to $4.30 an hour. Yes I can afford it but I remember making a buck an hour and $4.30 an hour seems expensive to park on rocks.
I retired last week and taking our first "real" trip in our new (to Us) MH to Sturgis, SD. I am looking forward to staying at a WM or other place. Now for the serious question. I have learned that I must ask permission to stay at WM, but what about other places mentioned such as Flying J or Cracker Barrel that have designated RV parking. I need dos and don'ts as far as permission. Like Sam's club, Home Depot etc. Many of them close early so I guess you just pull up and park out of the way. I know it would be lengthy to list Yes/No for permission for every individual store or situation but I'd like to hear what others do or have done. If someone has general guide lines, i'd appreciate it. I love this site.
Jim

Congrats on the retirement Jim. I highly recommend it. We apparently agree about KOA prices. When you head across South Dakota to Sturgis, plan an overnight in Mitchell SD at the big Cabelas store there. They have a huge parking lot dedicated to RVers spending the night. Last time we were there about 20 rigs of all sizes spent the night. The Cabelas folks love us. There is another store in Rapid City near the FlyingJ as you start hitting the populated area. FY is too busy and loud to overnight, but again Cabelas has a lot and even water and a dump for us RV types. Happy traveling
