Let's not drag that other thread into this one folks. All in good fun, I know, but really....don't do it.

Rules or no rules there should be no expectation of quiet beyond reason at Walmart or in a campground. If you choose this life style and want complete quiet and serenity or clean air then you will have to find a spot in the desert.

I have stayed in a walmarts but did not put out the slides and well did not camp there.

Funny, until I started reading this never ending thread, I never would have dreamed that anyone would park in a department store parking lot and expect a quiet, odorless, friendly environment. Guess I need to get out more.

Well, I did post that, contrary to several sites that show the Walmarts near me as "No Camping", actually allow it.

The latest Allstays, has two categories for Wal-Mart No "Overnighting" and "Ask to Park". They used to says "Allows Overnighting" and "No Overnighting"

Yoicks and hoity-toity, John RR!

Since you quoted him, for a minute there I thought you were referring to
Our Founder, Doodles:

I actually went and looked to see if his opening post had been taken down...but I see that it's still enshrined there at the beginning of the thread-(http://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/walma...ing-54934.html)

Has anyone checked on Doodles lately. I would offer, but I'm afraid of clowns.

Well, I did it.

I left a message for him at his profile page. And despite the fact that I'm about as unfriendly as they come...I sent him a "Friend" request, too!

Seems like the least one can do for a Clown who's given us so much...something...

So c'mon y'all!
Hustle on over to Doodles' profile page and "Friend" Our Glorious Founder!

I am new to this site but I can't help wondering if their is a web page for the "People of Walmart and their RV's"?

Sort of like roving Walmartians.
