Just spent 2 nights last week end at Wally Worlds. Mississippe, & Goergia. Called in advance & also went in & spoke with the manager or service desk employee to confirm. All was good.

No to put any ideas out but he location and convenience has to be worth something even with out hook ups.

This should be good for a few rebuttals

Over nighting in WalMart is really no different than over nighting in a rest stop but often with security that the rest stop is lacking... and FOOD! Just toss a store pizza in the oven and a movie in the DVD player. I see no difference.

Still seeing anywhere from one to three rigs a night stopping at the Wal Mart in Woodburn Oregon. Looks like mostly Canadians from BC and a few Washington state residents still heading South on I5. Due to doctor and dentist appointment we can't get away so we just look and dream.

Started our trip on Dec 28th with a planned stop at Walmart in McDonough, GA on our way to Ho Hum campground in Carabell, FL. Parking lot was full of after Xmas shoppers so we went in to the LOWES store, ask for the manager, clerk called him & told him we ask if it was okay to spend the night in their lot. Manager replied with a "no problem, just park out towards the end of the lot". They even turned the lights out for us at 10pm. May be the future option for Walmart camping if a Lowes is close by. We certainly don't want to miss an opportunity to shop at Walmart.

I have stayed at the Ho Hum and it is a great place. Very beautiful. That whole area was hurt by a hurricane a few years back, but is recovering.

We are heading to California in a few days and plan to stay at several Walmarts. I always go in the Walmart, ask for the manager and ask if it's OK to park there overnight. Of course, while we are in the store we usually end up dropping $20.00 or $30.00 it seems.
They 6th is planed for Silver Springs on 464 if they ever get to it.
