I have asked at several Lowes and Home Depots. All the ones that I asked would allow overnight parking. We haven't yet. So far we have parked in Wal-Marts and Sam's Clubs (stayed in more Sam's than Wal Marts). I thought we were going to end up spending the night in a Lowes in Odessa TX once (even asked and got permission just in case), but we got under way in time to hit the public campground we are planning on spending the night at.

My concern with Lowe's, Sam's club etc. they are not open 24 hrs. I don't want to be the only big thing in an empty parking lot.

We've stayed at both Lowe's and Home Depot with no problems. Most are on busy streets with lots of lighting.

Ok just to add another post. On our way to Fort Wilderness. Stayed the first night at a Wal-Mart in NC and the 2nd night at a Cracker Barrel in FL. Let's take stock, two nights stay with the full use of my MH thanks to my genny, holding tanks, food, Sat dish, ect. And I have more money to spend at Disney World. Works for me.

You will need the extra money for what Walt charges at FW.

A penny saved is a penny earned. And money does come in handy at Disney World.

Every Sam's Club that we have stayed in has had a security guy on site all night and they patrolled all around the parking lot & building. I don't know if they are all like that but that is just what we have encountered. Since we have a business membership, we also get to go in early and get complimentary coffee and danishes or cookies that they put out for their business card members. And they have all been so happy for us to stay. Kinda scary in a way.

Had to run to WalMart here in Buckeye, Az last night and really didn't like what I saw. Eight coaches... half with jacks down... one with a portable sat dish on a tripod... all parked close enough to the store to cause busy parking lot traffic to have to weave their way through them to get out of the lot.

I don't overnight at WalMart but know that nobody else will for long if this kind of stuff continues.
