Staying at a WM has it pros and cons. I have yet to do it and can't say its on my to-do list but it good to know there's a place for me if necessary. I can see both sides of this topic.

I also have handi-capped parking. Like many of us to look at me you don't see the medical reason but I do assure you there's a valid medical condition.

What drives me crazy about having handicapped plate is that sometimes some stupid person will parked maybe 6-10 inches away from the driver door. Let's think about this one for a moment - what are the chances my car has a driver?

I always try to find the "Van" access spots. No door dings there. When I don't park in a handicap spot, I try to get one next to a van access spot.

If I park my car there, thats when someone will try to squeeze in or park on the blue lines..

I've read this thread from the start
Spent tons of money at Wal-Mart
Roam'n the isles, clock's a tick'n
Wait'n to pick out my rotisserie chicken.

I've traipse the miles from our camping spot
To the front door from far end of the parking lot
SO I wonder if wishing is so out of touch
To hit the 4 thousandth post, is asking too much.

Bob....OK, you lurkers, let's get'er done!

I am surprised this thread has made it to this point. We have come close to closing it many times because of inappropriate or off topic posts, flaming other members and just unfriendly conversations over the years. Now, we try to let it roll on only for the sake of entertainment as all the topics have been covered. Maybe one day, everyone will tire of trying to prove their point or convert someone to their way of thinking and we will see useful info on the Walmarts that cater above and beyond and those you do not want to even drive into the parking lot. Good luck to everyone this summer, stay safe and keep us posted.

Well said! I do occasionally use Walmart when traveling and I will post my experiences whenever I do and hopefully that will help others who feel the same way.

Howdy,
For everyones info; THE VAN HANDICAPPED PARKING SPOTS ARE FOR VANS, WITH SIDE DOOR LIFTS!!! That's why the blue-lines next to the right side!! PLEASE, DON'T USE THEM FOR CARS, EVEN WITH PERMITS!! That's true whether it's WalMart's parking or the post office!!! We need the room to open the doors, get the lift out AND GET THE CHAIR OFF OF THE LIFT!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!
