I must say almost every time I wally dock I interact with other Walmart over nighters. Met some great people doing this. Shared some great stories and learned many new things. My intro line is usually are you really from South Dakota. If they have SD plates.

If the Walmart at 5010 N 95th Ave(Camelback rd and the 101 freeway)in Glendale, AZ 85305 is shown as no RV parking, it's not true. I asked at the service desk and they said ok in the very front of the lot and I counted three RVs over-nighting there.
The service desk at 2020 N 75th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85035 said that it depends on the security guard who was on duty at the time. I've seen a class A in the back lot next to some semis.

I'm thinking of heading over a day earlier than planned, spend the night at the Walmart in Wenatchee so I can be in Leavenworth early enough to get the trailer parked, truck unhitched and be ready to set my booth up early afternoon.
So after all that, how is the WM in Wenatchee for overnighting? Or is there a better/safer one on I-90 between Spokane and Wenatchee. I'm traveling by myself and while I'm OK with it, my husband is less than thrilled with this plan. And this is the first long(er) trip with our "new to us" travel trailer? Am I nutz?

I've been in that Wal-Mart lot with my motorhome and I don't recommend it. It's very small and they have signs that say "No Engine Idling." I took that to mean no generator so that lets us out. Just a very short distance, actually assessible via the same road that goes to WM is Home Depot. We stopped in there and asked to spend the night and they said "sure, just park by the sheds." We did and it was a nice quiet evening. A plus is HD has free Wi-Fi that seems to cover the whole lot. Now, this lot is still pretty small, but much better than the WM.

The no idling refers to the truck/coach engine, APUs and generators are allowed.
We just competed a trip to Mi. from Fl. and back and stayed at WMs exclusively.
No fuss no muss and we can shop for dinner for less then half the price of eating out...

16 rigs overnight last night at the Walmart in Rock Springs, Wyoming. All kinds of setups, from an old converted school bus with 3 guys driving cross-country to a quarter million dollar gorgeous looking brand new MH that was probably even more beautiful on the inside than the outside...

I pull into one Last night; I could not believe What I was seeing. There were Motorhomes Parked In the car slotts taking up as many as 6 spaces Per RV, They were setting beside there rig with a table set up A cooler under the table A jar of nuts on the table. Awning out, dogs all over the place,, They were having a great time.... IF I were the Maneger I would have Kicked them out ; That Is disgracefully Missusing the Privelage that wallmart is Kind enough to let us share;; Yet there are some ------ (you fill in the blanks.) the missuse Makes some of us sick.. and will get us all banned from Wallmart; What a shame..

I find that scene hard to swallow. In all my years of WM camping I have yet to see such.

Walmart or BUST! Were heading to Idaho Tuesday from Alabama.. attempting to beat the storm out of here.
This is our first trip in our New Jayco and Walmart seems to be the ticket as we beat feet westbound. Sure wish our Ref would start to cool down?????

Put a few bags of ice in the freezer and fridge area. That will give it a good head start.

A small battery operated fan in the fridge part helps a lot also.

If Walmart says go ahead and put slides out, awnings coolers dogs on leashes etc then it is ok. If Walmart says no dogs then keep dogs in if Walmart says no slides then keep slides in etc etc. All others apposed to this will have to look out the other window or move on.
