Does anyone want to try and guess when this thread will hit 1000 posts? This is 900th; only 100 to go!

wally world

On a recent 2000m trip from TX to CO to go snow skiing, we stayed at the San Angelo, Big Spring, Trinadad, & W. Pueblo locations. Not many other RVs, mainly OTR trucks.

It looks like in Ocala, Fl. anyway that people are traviling. More and more RVs parking at Walmart. We have 5 super Walmart stores in Marion county and a 6th comming. Lots of room for parking the RVs.

mikron--Where in Marion County is the newest Walmart going to be? We live in Ocala.

We are heading to California in a few days and plan to stay at several Walmarts. I always go in the Walmart, ask for the manager and ask if it's OK to park there overnight. Of course, while we are in the store we usually end up dropping $20.00 or $30.00 it seems.

We stayed at a Wal-Mart in LA close to the gulf and were right next to a retention pond. Made me think I had a water front site for free. Lots of ducks.

They are trying to build 5 walmarts in WDC. Now that would be a sight! RVs abound at the walmarts, occupied by politicans who got tired of sleeping in the office.
