I agree. lol, good for you giving your opinion. Too many people try to run others lives. Everyone cant afford to travel year round without taking some cost cuts.

I don't understand why people feel they have to, in some way, justify their stay at Wal-Mart by stating how much money they spend or why they are there. Folks, we are invited guests. Wal-mart hopes we spend money but there is no requirement to do so and if there was one I'm sure most members would over spend that amount. Being an invited guest only requires that we act like one while we're there. But the reason why we're there and how much one spends should be nobodies business. JMHO.

Not hard to figure out - hard as it is for most to admit, it's all about rationalization and justification for embarrassing personal choices and actions - totally unnecessary, since the Walmart parking spaces are not for sale or rent, no need to bribe the manager, but freely there for the taking...
Besides, would they have BOUGHT that stuff, if they really didn't WANT it - or do they toss it all in the nearest dumpster as they leave the store?
OH - and why is it that's it's considered OK to post as many messages here in rabid SUPPORT of Walmart parking as you wish - but post several OPPOSING the practice, and you're considered some sort of wild-eyed troublemaker/radical?
Circumstantial ethics?
Don't feel embarrassed, or make excuses - those parking spots are there to FREELY USE - so have at it with no regrets or attempted justification.

Everyone's ethics are circumstantial...
Everything is "shades of grey" nothing is "black and white"..
While I may firmly believe that killing another human is wrong
( which, by the way I do)...
If someone was threatening my family with physical harm, my ethics would change and I would not hesitate to kill them to protect my family...
Call me a hypocrite if you will, I believe that Moral and Ethical values are entirely dependent on the "circumstances".

Because people who express opinions in support of Wal-Mart parking are exercising a freedom they enjoy. And those expressing opinions opposing Wal-Mart parking are trying to take away that enjoyment by subverting that freedom with some self serving moral belief.

Why not just mind your own business, live and let live! If it is not causing you a problem and it's legal why not ignore whatever it is and get on with your life. Life really is short and at some point you all will come to realize that, there is no escape. Enjoy RVing and leave other's the same opportunity. RVers are in general a great bunch of people looking for enjoyment in the great outdoors. Like a previous poster said, look out the another window if you feel bothered by some silly little infraction of your rules. Just behave cut them some slack, SMILE and we all can enjoy what's left of our life a bit more.
By the way RJAY I borrowed your closing Quote on another post I made the other day, sorry but I could not remmember where i had seen it.

Sure feel free. After spending my entire life on the east coast and then spending the majority of my time fulltiming west of the Rockies it was a realization that struck me, I thought it was original but I guess you can find most anything now on the internet. Maybe I thought of it through osmosis.

Again, I couldn't agree more. Very well put. As you said in an earlier post " We are invited guests. Being an invited guest only requires that we act like one while we're there."
I guess that is the bottom line to this whole thread. Either we are invited guests or we are not. As a guest we should respect our hosts and act like the mature people we are supposed to be and if not invited we should be on our way....

So, I have a few Super Wally's close by and there seems to be a Wally Docker shortage. Anyone know how to Google endangered species to see if the Wally Docker has been added to the list.
In desperation to get an entry into this contest I may have to take my MH over and get some shots. What do you think, slides out, jacks down, awning down, tables and chairs, BBQing and a fire ought to be a winner. Or I could just leave everything alone and just snap a pic with me in my shorts using the outside shower.
