Wow 2593..

As a note: Walmart Supercenter in Plymouth, IN is not a good idea ATM as they are finally widening Oak road that runs between it and the Super K-Mart...

We may be parked at a Flying J or Walmart on Christmas Eve... does anyone know if we will have company? is this a busy night for overnight traveling or have most people reached their destination by Christmas eve? I don't like being the only one parked at a Walmart and if Flying J is to busy its hard to find a spot when pulling a toad.

I can't answer your question, but I do know that traveling on Christmas day is great. No one on the road.

You won't have much company on holidays.

Some RV'ers pulled that stunt here in Florida, and now about half the Walmarts banned overnight parking. It's not a campground, it's a parking lot, at a understanding store that tried to help out RV'ers, but someone always has to ruin it. Just keep the awning, chairs, and grills in the MH, and go buy dinner from Walmart.

We travel mostly in the northwestern states.
All our Wal*Marts have them here (Vancouver, WA), although not 24/7/365.

Hey, whats this about Woodburn Or shutting its W/M lot to RV's and trucks. Just as you enter their lots anywhere on the property is signs that no RV's or trucks to overnight their lots. Cannot miss the signs. I asked customer service and they indicate it is not a store closing the lots, but the city put in a law to it. I never heard about it, I was here about one year ago and had no problem either. No one on this thread has mentioned it have they? Let's investigate this nice service they did for us in previous years, and open this place up again. Probably some slob got us banned again!

Being an over the road trucker I have been out there on Christmas (as well as other holidays) and the truck stops and highways are not nearly as busy as normal but there are still people working and traveling.
You may be the only one at a Wall Mart but not at a truck stop...
