This reminds me of the man interviewing for a job, seeing the name of the interviewer on a name plate on the interviewer's desk:

"So, Mr. Dumass, I think I will be great for the job" blah blah blah, as he mentions the man's name several times, only to hear the interviewer say:

"The name is 'Doo Mahss'"

It'd be more of a clunk because it is VERY heavy and thick.

One time, we had this discussion with some friends of mine. I had just been to Wal-Mart, so I pulled everything out to see where it was from. Of the six items, 4 were made in the U.S., one in China, one in Indonesia, if I recall correctly.

Wal-Mart like any successful business, sell exactly what the customer wants. If the customer wants cheaper, foreign goods and Wal-Mart decides not to sell them, somebody else will and Wal-Mart will go bankrupt. The consumer decides what is sold. All over the retailers have very sophisticated software tracking buying trends and if they make a mistake on a product, it quickly goes away. Be mad at the consumer, not the retailer.

I am sick of people going to WM getting food from the deli, fried chicken, chicken salad, potato logs and anything else they want, eat it and set the container on a shelf. What's the difference shop lifting is shop lifting.

I dont see empty containers on the shelf at my Walmart(s)? I do see people eating (I do it too sometimes) and still showing the empty containers to the cashier at checkout...

Maybe you live in a worse area?

I ate about half of the mini donuts while shopping one day and still paid the 2.50 for it, even if the container was only half full or was that half empty. In my younger day I might have put it back and picked up a full one.

Oh, BTW, I have never seen empty deli containers at our WM's either. Dang it now I'm really going to be on the look out for them.
