Running about the same as it was with just the spare tire up there, most of the load is low enough that the air passes over the top of it before going on forward to the engine. The green bundle is actually right in front of the tire, so its in an already shared blockage space.

There's about 1.5-2' between the back of the items and the grill itself, the load sits out there a fair ways. I've got better from the side pictures from that trip, but haven't had time to do the blog write up yet.

I am thinking about getting an extra electric fan kit and mount it in front of the radiators with a switch and relay for when I'm running High load, low speed to help the air flow.

What you can't see in that picture is there's also a two bike tip-down carrier behind the camper that's in my hitch extension.

I'll be impressed when a NASCAR totes that load across Kansas, much less virginia or Colorado, lol...
I think the electric fan is a wise add-on, as in the event of losing a clutch fan you're still golden!

Many have posted that they always ask the manager for permission to park in the parking lot.
Does this bother the manager that he has to deal with this on a daily basis, or do you actually talk to an assist. manager or some other person. It just seems he would get tired of running to the front of the store to answer a simple question.
Obviously we have never stayed at a Walmart, but am thinking about trying it next time.

Hmm, we must be newbs or something. We have never mistaken wallyworld or any other store's parking lot for a camp ground. If we can't afford to pay 30 bucks a night to have full hookups, a picnic table, a campfire and a quiet nights sleep we stay home.
