Have you checked out the Thrift shops? We used to buy most of our clothes from a Goodwill Store located in Hixson TN. Stuff was cheap and I have bought clothes with tags still on it (Best buy... Timberlane insulated hiking shoes with tags still on it... $5). Men's dress shirts are my favourite (usually cut fuller across the bust). I do love Pierre Cardin shirts... So does David! He actually wears them to work in (carpentry).

What are the one(s) that you have found to have the best clothes & prices? We will be heading out to NM in 2009. Town we will be stayin in is not too far south of Albuquerque (Socorro). Since we shop at Sam's Club (business related), we will be shopping up in Albuquerque a couple times per month.

I'm slowly making my way through Goodwill's right now. I'll let you know a full report when I'm through checking them all out.

For AMAZING jewelry at unbelievable prices: Pawn Shops. You would not believe the amount of Native American jewelry in pawn shops . . .

GM: Sounds like you are having a great time. Just think, if you had a live human anchor you probably could not do all these fun things.
Continue to have fun and live large.

Yeah, but anchors help keep you from getting blown off course . . . .

I've been following this thread and now feel compelled to jump in. Since you like thrift shopping, try this link: http://www.thethriftshopper.com/

Might find some fun stuff.

I went to Family Thrift in ABQ yesterday and found some GORGEOUS stuff - designer blazer, neat sweaters . . . more expensive than most thrift store things but they were nicer too . . . I love thrift store shopping! I feel like I've won something when I get something that nice so cheap!!

I just bought 2 pairs of jeans at local Humane Society thrift store. Just $1 each and they still looked newish. I don't know which made me happier, the price or the size (I'm down to a size 6... from a 16). Unfortunately they only had two pairs of that size. I'm going to have to start buying new pants. My old ones are falling off me, so I started tossing them in the trash. I refuse to ever have "fat pants" tucked away (just in case) ever again!!!!

Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!! And when you're that size EVERYTHING fits you!!

Congrats on the weight loss! How'd you do it?
