Warning Prohitch South Lake Tx
I have been duped by ProHitch of South Lake TX. I searched Goggle for Road Master Towing products and the very first page that comes up is Road Master.TowBar of South Lake TX looking like and official Road Master site, which they are a dealer (I think). After calling them several times at different times of the day and leaving messages to call me back me back and no return phone call. I did get them to answer the phone one time after my first order by using my wifes cell phone which is a different number then my home number. Spoke to Dana Williams and requested my order to be cancelled and refund issued. Never happened. After reading other comments from other folks I just wanted to warn others that they may have problems dealing with these people. It really pisses me off for somebody to take my money and think they can get away with it. So this is my way of warning others BE CAREFULL OF THESE JECKS.

Don't know if they deal in RoadMaster, but I have used Discount Hitch in Arlington twice to install base plates and do hookups for me. They have done a good job.

I had a problem with Verizon and my wife said put it on Twitter . I did and with in 2 hrs I had a response from Verizon to clear up their miss handling my acct

Thanks for the info... But what exactly was the problem?
Did they take your money an never order your equipment. You say they wouldn't call you back, but never say why you were calling in the first place.
Did I miss something?

You should notify the state of Texas Attorney Generals Office as well as USPS for possible mail fraud. Trust me, the crap you can stirr up on them as well as making it a public notice, they will respond one way or another. Last thing you might try is a local TV Station that just might spread the word about how dishonest they are!

Sketchy on details of the issue... However, I assume you used a credit card... put a stop payment on them!

Damn, duped just like you; I thought that I was dealing with the official company. I placed a small order with them back in late September and nothing, even though I e-mailed them twice. I used my VISA card so I'll just get a refund from VISA for non-delivery.

OP Facts..... Ordered tow equipment from ProHitch.TowBar South Lake TX and paid using debit card
Never received any e mail with confirmation of order
Called several times and left message to call me back never happened .
Called using my wife's cell phone (different number then my house), Dana Williams answered, I requested a refund she said I would get refund in two business days. Did not happen
Now to make it clear....ordered equipment... paid for equipment...did not receive equipment...requested refund for not receiving equipment...did not received refund....contacted credit union filled forms to dispute charge to my account which at my credit union any payment made by debit card is covered as credit card Now passing this information on to other members of this site is not allowed please excuse me and I only wanted to warn others of possible trouble.
For the others who did not understand my first post all this information was covered except term debit card

Called Capital One & got my money refunded right away. Re-ordered those items from Camping world & had them in 3 days.

I have been having the same problem with this company. They represent themselves as roadmaster's premier dealer, but the company is pro hitches out of tx as stated. After numerous emails to cust svc (unanswered) and many phone calls answered by voice mail (no call back), i looked up their local number and called. Talked to dee who told me she would cancel the order and i would receive a credit on my card within 3 days. It has been 10 days now and my next steps are the BBB and TX Atty Gen. Also plan to talk to roadmaster and make sure they know just how bad this company is. Maybe they can remove them as a dealer.

You should also dispute the charge on your credit card ASAP. Good luck.
